hi, i'm lalimaa!
i didn’t grow up knowing i’d be a ceramicist. i started in my late 20s, during a perfectly reasonable mid life crisis,
when i decided clay was easier than having all the answers.
pipa pots is where those feelings end up.
i make handbuilt ceramic pieces that feel a little alive.
sometimes shy, sometimes mischievous, sometimes quietly judging you from the shelf.
they’re not meant to be perfect or impressive.
they’re meant to sit with you.
everything is made slowly, by hand, one piece at a time. no molds, no mass production, no rushing.
some pieces are functional. some are just here to exist. both are equally important.
pieces appear when they’re ready. sometimes online, sometimes at markets across the netherlands.
there’s no constant stock and no pressure to buy.
if something speaks to you, it’s probably meant for you.
thanks for being here. i’m really glad you found your way to this little corner.
